What type of grass seed should I use?

Question:I recently dug up dead grass and placed top soil over it. What seed should I use then?

Answers:
any kind that is more for the money and has no weeds .Look at the bag to see how long it will take and how much water it will need. Also the soil should have fertilizer in it and free of weeds as well. I resently planted grass seeds on a patch of soil and have have success the grass is sprouting and I had to water it 2 to 3 times a day and used a good amount of soil to cover the seeds.

Kentucky Bluegrass is the most common but it depends on where you live, in the south and California, centipede and Bermuda grass are common too.
