Apple tree invested with pests?

Question:tree is covered in white fury stuff, it didnt flower this year, and the leaves are all curled up and covered in bumps

Answers:
Sounds like a fungal problem. Try Neem oil, because it has made no fruit and this can just be the year to fight everything. Feed and water it. Clean up under it in the fall and do a dormant spray. Burn what you remove so that you are fightting any overwintering pests. Next year it will be better.

Call your local arborist and ask them as your answer will depend on your region.
Sounds like either woolly aphid or silver leaf curl. If you could post a photo it will be easier to identify. Or take a sample to your local garden centre they should be able to help.
Go to the tree and pile sticks and other fuel around it... light it and watch as the bugs get toasted. If you have a witch living locally, you could tie her to the tree and do two jobs at once.
From your bare descriptions, I suspect more pest than one. White fluffy stuff could be mealy bugs or white flies. Leaves curled up is symtom of mites. Bumps or nodes on leaves could be cecid flies. Go and get all the pesticides and start spraying.
