What is a good way to prevent tomato worms before they invade a garden without use pesticides?

Just remove them by hand! I go out and pick them off, sometimes the birds get them before they do too much damage. You can also spray Bacillus thuringensis which is pretty good. It'sa bacteria that destroys catepillars I guess. This Univ Of California, Davis website has more. I use this website at least once a week!

without pesticides, you get to look at your plants daily and pluck them off.. and then splatter them on the ground.
I've tried the Marigolds thing.. it doesn't do much, if anything.
