Do I remove the stick that stabilizes my climbing vine to make it climb my stucco house? It isn't climbing.

Question:

Answers:
It is kind of hard without knowing the KIND of climbing vine that you have. You need to make sure that you have the proper support for your vine.

Vines have several types of attachments: Some vines twine around their supports with stems (like wisteria). Others twine around their supports with tendrils (like sweet peas). Some cling with special growths such as suction disks (like ivy). Others need to be tied to their support to climb along it (like roses).

So, if your vine isn't climbing you probably have not provided the right support. Check with a nursery.

Good Luck!!
