I got a bottle of Fox Urine from Home Depot to get rid of rabbits. I bet it will work with mice too. I sprayed around the perimeter. It doesn't smell really bad either.
Someone said you can try red pepper flakes.
i would purchase dried blood flakes from your lawn and garden store and spread it around all of the plants that they are causing you problems with. i have not had a problem with mice myself, but i have had problems with moles, rabbits, and neighborhood dogs and this has stopped them. gl
