What's wrong with my sunflowers?

Question:I'm Zone 9, MS coast. I started indoors in Feb and moved to sunny outside spot 8 weeks later. Both Mammoth and Teddy Bear. They grew up and opened wonderful flowers, but now they look like they are getting burnt or scortched. What can I do? My only guess is that being in front of a window, it's too hot?

Answers:
a few things to check..
When do you water them? does water hit any of the part flower? if so remember water amplifies the sun there for you could be burning your flowers!

It could be time for them to seed my haven't even flowered yet but i'm in the michigan zone 6 i think!

IT SOUNDS LIKE THERE GOING TO START SEEDING
The only thing I know is that they need to be well watered all the time.
