Help! BUCKETS,BUCKETS,BUCKETS!?
Question:OK epople, I need as many uses for buckets, and as much as you know about them. Even stuff about bucket handles! Just as long as its Bucket-related!
Answers:
a saying is "raining buckets"
uses, wash cars, carry dirt, use as a planter, do a fireman's water drill (pass the bucket of water), creative hat, use on a pully system to bring something up a ladder or other high space, use as a weapon by throwing it at someone, oil changes.
That's all I got!
Good luck!
It would be easier to answer if we knew what you wanted this for... please give us more details...
The guy above me had some good ones but here are some more that most don't think about right off the bat. Water fight! Booby trap, use when you can't find a rest room. Mixing things like mortar or clay, cement. Collecting things like vegtables, friut, tadpoles. Building a sand castle. teporary fish bowl. Mixing things in the kitchen like cake batter. If its a big bucket to bathe a baby or small dog in. you could hang it on a line and swing it to transport stuff from one place to another.
OK..the two above me had good ideas. Let me see...you can store things, organize the garage with them, let the kids seperate their toys using buckets, or use for a dog water bowl (for big dogs of course), catch water from a leaking drain...or allow the water to drain into a bucket while repairing the leak. mix paints from several cans in a 5 gallon one.or mix fertilizer in one and use a syphonex to water your plants. Use it for a basket when picking fruit/veggies, or as a mop bucket. Put your garden tools in them and then sit on the lid while weeding the garden. They could make great sand castles, or funny shaped snowmen. You can store pet food in buckets or use them to hold rags...or plastic bags that threaten to overtake your house. How about as trash cans...or to haul compost...or to make compost in? Use them as ottomans (cover with foam and fabric), or end tables with glass on top!...or use them in place of blocks to make book shelves in crunch. Why not stools? Or book holders? Or picnic baskets? Paint them, paper them, or cover in cloth and use them for everything.
Could it be that you are going to write "The Bucket Book"? :>)
Hot glue cotton batting over the outside of the bucket and cover with fabric, put a thick layer of batting over the lid , make a 3 inch ruffle and attach to the edge of the fabric that you will use to cover , the lid and you have a cute storage bucket. Use hot glue for the whole thing, the only sewing you need to do is for the ruffle.
You can, with a bucket:
soak your feet use it for a crash helmet
soak your hands, use it for a space hemet
carry stuff holler it in
dump stuff out put sand in it for an ash tray
stand on it for that prom picture sit on it
stand on it to reach high stuff poop in it (yuck)
plant stuff in it and then kick it at the end.
