I could only type answers that were taken, but the only advise I do have is to NOT use antifreeze in that manner. Any animal that is attracted to the sweet tase of it would die. Your pets included

Can be rented at local rental shop. Usually hitches to a bumper hitch. Easy to use.
Next... use a chain saw and cut it lower. A LOT OF WORK and bad on saw. Last choice.
try calling a local tree service company and have them quote you to remove it. You can also find a chemical in hardware stores that'll disintegrate the stump within time but the quickest way would be to hire someone to grind it for you.
drill large holes into stump, get yourself a salt lick block (local coop) , as it melts and the deer lick it ,it will rot away the stump
an old fashoned remedy is to drill holes in the stump and fill it with salt. it takes a while, but eventually it will die and you can get it out. another way is to call a company to "grind" it out. this really isn't expensive. we had a tree stump removed this way ( tree was about 1 ft. around) the only drayback is it sure makes a mess out of the area around the stump.
You have to kill it first, so you'll want to drill a few holes in it and pour antifreeze down into them. This will kill it completely and stop new growth from coming in. Then, later on, you can dig it up yourself with a shovel, or if it's too big, you can call a lawn service and have them do it for you.
If grinding it out isn't an option and it doesn't have to be gone immediately, there are products you can use that will rot the stump from the inside. Your garden supply store should be able to show you what they have, then you have to use a drill to drill holes into the stump, pore the product in and over the next year or so it will rot away, but you might still end up having to do some digging to get the remnants out. Grinding it out is the fastest way, and the most satisfying.
Do it the old fashioned way. Take an axe and chop out a depression in the center, then start burning it away. It takes a long time but it will work, I guarantee. Use charcoal first till you get a good deep hole burned into it. You might want tuse it as a flower pot then.
