How deep down are you supposed to plant an apple seed?

Question:

Answers:
Not deep at all(less than an inch). I have several apple trees I planted from seeds . Remember the story of Johnnie Appleseed? The reason he planted apple seeds is they are so easy to grow.

I think that I would buy a tree to plant instead of a seed.
JUST NEEDS TO BE 1 INCH BELOW THE SOIL
Not very deep to germinate it- but keep in mind that most apples are grown from hybridized varieties and are transplanted onto rootstock, so the apple seed you have from your apple may not germinate at all, or it may germinate but not well and/or grow viable or quality fruit.

I agree with answer one.
wet a paper towel and lay your seed in the paper towel fold it over and keep the seed and towel wet this should help germinate it for planting
