if is a lil square $10 if is somewhat troubleling adn with many bumps and actually makes you sweat $15 and if is a total pain $20 and up lol
It depends on which part of US. Just go with the flow. Ask the homeowners what they are willing to pay and if it suits you go with it or else quote what you think is acceptable.
if you made $10.00 an hour how long would it take you to do the lawns? that's what i pay to anybody who does my mowing. i don't like paying a flat fee for doing a job because the employee will start taking shortcuts to get the job done.

I live in a townhouse and have an enclosed patio with a small yard space. I'd say it's maybe 8'x12' and I pay 25.00 a month with cuts, trims and sweeping every two weeks. It takes maybe 20 minutes but I have no storage for a mower. You must take into consideration when coming up with a price that seems fair to you all the things the provider provides. Not only their services based on time but their travel expense to come to you, their gasoline, oil and maintenance costs of their equipment and most of all how pleased you are with their services. It's like getting a haircut. You can pay 5.00 for a haircut but you'll end up with a 5.00 haircut. Or you can spend 20.00 and look nice. The choice is yours. :)

It depends on the local market. Call a few local lawn guys and see what they would charge. Of course you have to charge less since you don't have to pay all the business fees they pay.
I pay my 14 year old neighbour $20 to mow my 1/4acre of lawn. He thinks that is too much compared to what others pay him. He just sits on the tractor and drinks a pop. I do the trimming and under the trees.
It's unrealistic to put dollar amounts. What is right for NY is not going to be right for Fargo ND or Redding, CA. Do your homework and find what the going rate is in your area. Whatever the market will bear, tempered by your experience--or lack of experience..
Most homes in my area are about 1/4 acre. I see ads at many local businesses that offer lawn mowing services. The prices are mostly at $15.00 for mowing both front and back lawn. Remember, this is only for mowing. not trimming/edging.
