Could all this rain in Texas be the cause of the yellowing of leaves on my Day Lilies?

Question:They are still blooming, should I just let them be? I've got so many I couldn't possibly raise them up at this point. I wonder if I'll loose them after this rainfall?

Answers:
no. daylillies love lots of water. more than likely its lack of fertilizer because they are heavy feeders as well. also, sometimes it is natural for daylillies to yellow, its kind of like shedding. ive spent many a day at the nursery clipping off the yellow blades. i would recommend cutting off the yellow, and feeding them regularly with liquid fertilizer like miracle grow or peters. water the fool out of them also.

Please send some of that rain east, my daylilies are dying from lack of rain!
