Will nasturtiums grow and flower in shade?

Question:I accidentally planted them in the shade...do I need to move them? They are still young starts.

Answers:
I had prolific blooms from my nasturtiums in the shade; however, they did get morning sun. Most plants, especially annuals, require sun to thrive.

yes but they will not produce as many flowers and maybe not as big.
did you know the leaves and flowers are edible?
put the leaves into a salad, and garnish with the flowers .

unfortunately, you'll have to transplant them to a sunnnier location if you desire copious blooms. nasturtiums require full sun to thrive and flower profusely. since they're still young, it shouldn't be much of a problem to transplant them to a sunnier location.
