Why does honeysuckle?

Question:get really weak when it turns yellow?

Answers:
What's turning yellow? The foliage? I'd be looking for the cause...like insect attack. The sucking insects like aphids and mites suck the plant juices, weakening the plant.

Improper watering may be affecting the roots, too wet they rot, too dry they can't function. Without water to support the cells and to transport water and nutriets the plant fails.

Going along with this is soil compaction. If the soil is like a brick, oxygen can't get into the soil and oxygen is needed for the mineral uptake down at the roots.

Yellowing can also indicate not enough nitrogen or iron in the soil..among other nutrients. Time to fertilize.

Last thought would be a disease.

Hopefully I've given you a ideas and you can do your own sleuthing.

The petals drop off but I don't know why,i guess its just a process it goes through, smells lovely though.
Because it saw the cow slip
You're not very clear about what's happening so I assume you have a honeysuckle which has turned yellow. You don't say where it's planted and there isn't really enough information to answer properly. Edit your post and give all the details and perhaps someone can help.
I think if they're yellow their dying and when you're dying you are really weak!
