Any advice ? i want to plant a worcester apple tree . i live in kent england,.?

Question:are there certain times of the year when you should not plant this tree or will it be ok now to plant ? thanks

Answers:
you dont say if you have already purchased the tree yet. if you have here is what you do .soak the tree roots in water. dig the hole and take some of the soil mix this with farm your manure that can be purchased from a garden centre and then mix in a hand full of bone meal. after planting the tree with this mixture firm the soil arround the tree and again water.for the next month unless very wet weather pesists you must water the tree every day . on the best time to plant a tree.
the autunm is the correct time to plant trees, once the trees have dropped their leaves(deciduous trees) follow the same instructions as above but you do not have to do the watering part.

Planting apple trees should be done any time during the winter and early Spring months, October to December being the best months.
Dig a hole large enough to easily take the roots, place the tree in the hole and cover the roots with soil up to the surrounding ground level. Simple enough, but bear in mind a few points.
Don't add any fertiliser to the soil at this time - it may burn the roots and it will only encourage tree growth at the expense of fruit growth.
The tree should be planted to the same depth as it was in the pot (or the soil mark on the trunk in the case of bare-rooted trees). If in doubt, make sure that the joining point between the rootstock and scion is at least 5cms (2in) above ground level. Having planted the tree, firm down the soil using your boots to ensure the soil is in good contact with the roots. Water well if the conditions are dry.
You would be better setting a Kent Apple, keep it local you will be better off and I can't say worcercesistershire. I always had to have Daddies sauce until they started doing serve yourself shopping.
