What is going on with my grass?

Question:I thought it was supposed to be greener on the other side. It is quite clear, however, that my grass is much greener than my neighbor's. What is going on here?

Answers:
Along with shade and water etc, it could depend on how low your cutting the yard, my neighbors yard is brown and ugly compared to mine because they cut it on the lowest setting every two weeks, and i cut mine once everye 5-6 days at a good height adjustment

The grass is not always greener on the other side. =]
Did you treat your lawn with fertilizer? Do you water? Is your front yard shaded? All will keep your lawn greener. Be glad a healthy, green lawn adds value to your home and you get exercise mowing it.
Did your neighbor recently put down sod? If so, maybe he wasn't told to install it "Green side up!"
