Pot size for roses?

Question:I just bought Mother's Love roses and Sir Donald Bradman roses from Better Homes & Gardens. I want to plant it in pots cause I live in apartment unit. Can you guys tell me the suitable pot size that I can use to plant those roses.

Answers:
I would not plant it in anything smaller than a 12-15" patio pot (top of pot dimensions). Bigger will be better. Also, if you live in a cold weather region, you will need to store your pots somewhere besides outdoors once the hard freezes come. The pot being above ground won't offer it enough protection for it to survive through winter.

Hi there,

I would recommend these pots, since they will be suitable in your case. Check them out and let me know. I think they are on sale as well.
