What is the best way to heat a greenhouse in the uk?

Question:what are the best and cheapest way to heat them.

Answers:
I have used a tubular electric heater for the last 3 years with a lot of sucess. They cost no more than 2 light bulbs to run per hour. 120 watt should be ok for a 8x6 house.

Depending on the size of your greenhouse you may find various possibilities of heaters, frost fighters, whatever on the market.

As you do not indicate the size of your greenhouse it is not easy to suggest a specific type of greenhouse heater. But you might start a web search (Yahoo or Google) by typing greenhouse heaters and so see what you can find of various models and addresses.

You might also visit one or more shops in the nearby where they sell greenhouses and accessories and so see what models of greenhouse heaters they propose. You might ask them what they think may be most convenient (cheapest) heater for your own greenhouse.

Good luck!
