My 2 sons just ate what looks like clovers, should I be worried?

Question:The boys came in claiming to have found "apple clover" they are 3 and 5, I noticed they were checking out something in the grass and then realized they were eating something. When I went over to see they showed me what they were eating.
Looks like clovers from grass. Should I be concerned? I am trying to explain to them that animals have pottied there and they shouldn't eat grass.

Answers:
rabbits love clover and the flowers are sweet.no need to worry.lawns that don't have clover have been sprayed with weed killer..boys will be boys lol

LOL nah they'll be fine!! I used to eat dandelion leaves and grass when I was a kid and I'm fine lol. Besides, its good for their digestive systems!!
Unless they have JUST been treated with high doses of weed killer, don't worry.
If you are worried, keep an eye on them and give them plenty of fluids to flush their systems.
I think your little ones will be okay, but if you are concerned you could call your local poison control center just to be sure.
Watch out that they dont grow big ears....
No need to worry.
