I Spray Pesticides every day..Am I at risk for health issues?

Question:I normally spray a mixture of Demon and Cynoff WP as well as Talstar and Cynoff WP as well as Termidor.

Answers:
As long as you follow the protection instructions and wear the correct respirator you should have no problem. If you constantly handle organophosphates you should be checked by a doctor periodically.

You already know the answer, why do you need us to confirm the obvious.
If u've washed ur precious hands after the sprayin then u r safe and if u hv worn a mask then 2 u r safe b safe!!!!!
Not if you are using properly designed mask and safety equipment. If not, you can bet on future lung disease.
Yes. If you are inhaling the fumes you very well could be.
Try wearing one of those masks. Take every possible precaution.
Why are you spraying every day? Is that what you do for a living? If so ask your boss for some safeguards.
DUH!! Which way did he go George, which way did he go?
I have a feeling yes. I don't believe in spraying things on my body but hairspray on my hair. Natural things are okay, but not artificial things.
I would wear a respirator if I did it everyday, be on the safe side!!!!
BAD BAD BAD, Speak to your doctor about potential illness and investigate protcetive measures...masks, gloves, etc.
Yes - Parkinson 's disease is an occupational hazards.
Take every precaution in handling all that stuff, or change job.
Yes. you and everybody else.
Depends on who you talk to, but I think the statistics probably show a higher risk of health problems that if you aren't. Your risk is probably lower if you use correct protective equipment, but the EPA has banned several uses lately of many different pesticides because of either human health effects or aquatic life effects...

Demon and Cynoff WP look like concentrates of Cypermethrin which is a class of pesticide called pyrethroids. They're somewhat toxic to humans, although not as bad as organophosphates. I think they have far larger environmental implications though, especially in waterways.

Talstar is bifenthrin which is WAY more toxic than cypermethrin... It is also a pyrethroid. Not as toxic as organophosphorus pesticides though...

Ooo, Termidor is fipronil which is also used as Frontline for pets. That is a new pesticide and it will be interesting to see how toxic it is. Unfortunately it seems like a lot of pesticides are released without a good idea of how toxic they are. They do tests, but the test kinda suck in my opinion.

This is a cool website to look at for products. These people came and gave us a presentation when they were getting the site put up.
