Why are the squirrels nesting in July??
Question:We have squirrels in the back yard...they are robing the fuzz off the palm trees (in Oregon).fabric.even the dead butterfly bush blooms. What's up with that?? They have their babies in the spring...I have a back yard full of them, so I know. So...why would they be nesting now? Could it mean we are having a hard and or early winter? Or, are they going to have babies again? Hmmm? Thanks ahead for your answers.

Chances are they are just cleaning their nests, putting new filler in, strengthening them up. Probably nothing to worry about.
stop worrying about stupid squirls!
maybe, keep a lookout for other strange behaviors. Check it out with your local Department of fish and wildlife.
