Snowball bush, is it possible to cut a small branch off?

Question:and get it to root?
Would I need a rooting hormone?

Answers:
not likely... the process takes too long if u ask me! just take a low branch, make a small cut in it,(not all the way through it) bury the cut end in the dirt, and put a rock over it so the tree don't pull it back out, and within about two to three weeks it will have rooted and u can cut it away from the tree and u got urself a new snowball bush! u can add some rooting hormone to the cut section to speed up the process if u'd like!

I would use rooting hormone

you could do it if you added rooting hormone, or the soil you plant it in is incredibly rich.
