Stems on Odtna. orchid plant turning yellow next to buds?!?

Question:I recently purchased a small orchid from Trader Joe's (yes, the grocery store) that says on the tag it is an "Odtna. Memoria Martin Orenstein 'Lulu'". I bought it 3 days ago, and both the Phal. and Paph. that I got there at the same time seem to be doing fine.

The Odtna however is turning pale yellowish on the stems just below the buds. The buds are still tightly closed.

When I got the plants home I watered them and let them drain for a minute in the sink, then put them on the cart where I keep my other orchids (over the humidifier). I have not watered them since. I did take the Odtna out of it's outer clay pot today, because I was worried that the yellowing of the stems may be caused by not enough air circulating around the roots... so now it's just sitting in the plastic pot (which has side vents).

Sorry this is so long-winded -- I'm just really anxious to bring this lovely little plant back to health and see it bloom!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice!

Answers:
nope. it is water related. put it back in the clay pot, add some fertilizer with nitrogen. move it to a more direct morning sunlight location.
