you don't say where you live,, jack fruits are tropical plants and can not tolerater frosts when young,, they also can not tolerate droughts,, and neither can their roots stay wet long!! they need loose soil that will drain fast,, with plenty of rain to make such large fruits!! they also give out an unpleasant odor it you get too close to them!! you may have pollination problems!! jack fruit are hard to pollinate and reguire hand pollination on plantations!! if you only have one tree you will not get fruit with out another for pollination!!
