Yucca Gloriosa House Plant (Spanish Dagger)?

Question:I have a Yucca Gloriosa house plant that has two stalks coming off the trunk that I would like to transplant. Can I start them in water or do I need to put them in dirt.

Answers:
Put then in dirt, and keep it moist; not wet just moist. Once you think they are doing O.K. water them as you would any desert type plant.
