Tomato plant help.?

Question:My dog had knocked over my new tomato plant that was still in its early stages. It didn't get rrepotted until 3 days later. The leaves turned yellow but I plucked them off.

My question is, the plant is still very thin but is budding, and even has a "baby" tomato on it. Should I pluck the little green tomato so the plant can heal itself a bit better or is that hogwash?

Answers:
Definitely leave the tomato on the plant. You may want to give your plant some food if you haven't already. You can use a Miracle Gro for vegetables or you can use a compost or any fertilizer that isn't too harsh. If your plant is getting taller and is not getting any thicker you may also want to brace it with a stick and a string.

I would just let the plant be..tomatoes grow like weeds, and having one fruit isn't going to make or break your plant. Removing the fruit at a young stage in life might (exposing the interior of the plant) also may invite a disease/aphid attack. Secondly, upon reading all the other suggestions, no no no no to Miracle Gro for Tomatoes or Miracle Gro in general..cmon people, where did you learn how to garden?? TV?? Go with a fish emulsion, bet stuff ever.
Removing the tomatoe will do nothing for the plant. It will either grow, or not. As long as it is budding, it must not have had any terminal damage.
Just plant it, and don't worry about it. It will recover with time. Give it plenty of water and Miracle Grow for Tomatos.
