What kind of fertilizer do I use for arbivitaes and for verbernums?

Question:I remember being told one of these bushes required acid fertilizer and one didn't, but I can't remember. I hope someone can give me a correct answer.

Answers:
Holly*Tone is a good organic fertilizer for these plants. Robert is giving you confusing and incorrect info. He says use a balanced fert (like 10-10-10 is a balanced fert) but then tells you get one with a higher middle number. Also, arborvitae do not flower and they do like acid fertilizers.

neither like acidic soil! fertilize with a balanced fertilizer...leaning more towards a high second number. they're always doing something that pertains to seeds, blooms, and the like! so don't give em too much nitrogen..the first number!
