Why is my zoysia lawn turning orange?

Question:I have zoysia grass in my yard. i've noticed some orange flecks mixed in recently.

Answers:
Is your zoysia also mixed with St. Augustine? I'm not entirely sure what could be causing the damage (not my specialty) - could be many different things, including pests. You could always check with your local extension office. They could help you out and there's lots of knowledgeable people there. Another spot to hit would be www. gardenweb.com Go to their lawn forum (under garden forums) and ask about this. Some of these people are true lawn wizards! Goodluck!
