Save The Potato!?

Question:My potato plants have gone yellow at the bases, but they are still green on top along with flowers which have purple and white petals with a yellow centre which measure about 1/4-1/2 an inch across, all my plants are leaning at alarming angles....will they survive? or do I get diggin'!

Answers:
Give them a few dry days first, then water again, should be fine

LIKE I'M GONNA.
water and tie a strong stem to a vertical pole.
I would try bracing them up with sticks. they should survive, but it sounds like they are getting a little too much water.
yes SAVE THE POTATOES !!!!

BUSH MUST GO

SAVE THE POTATOES !!!!
Wait til the whole plant turns yellow then dig.
No. Give them a good fertilizer or a good soil !
You do not need to brace them. You really need to stop watering them!!! Potatoes do not need much water! You could dig a little and check to see if there are any potatoes, but if they are still flowering I don't think you will have much luck. It won't hurt to check though!
