What is this plant? (photo incl.)?


Question:We have a plant growing in our backyard that the family is having a small argument about; we've confirmed it isn't dogwood, the first guess, but we don't know what it is. anybody want to guess?

I´m pretty sure it is a philadelphus shrub. Look at these pictures:

Could you take a better picture and up close, it is hard to say what it is.
It looks like a vibernum, which is a big family of nice plants found in nature as well as grown cultured all over the world.
A closer picture would be nice. It's hard to see specifics. I'll hazard a guess though, maybe a spirea. Good luck!
