Hi there,
Aloe tend to send out more shoots and pups when they are slightly rootbound. Since they can tolerate this pretty well, you shouldn't re-pot unless the plant starts getting top-heavy. She'll want to take the pups out and pot them up by themselves when they get to about 3 or 4 inches in height - if you don't do this, they'll put a strain on the mother plant and it will start getting a bright green and will send out shoots horizontally instead of vertically. When she's repotted the pups they should be watered well and not watered again for about 3 weeks, which will force new roots to seek water. The transplanted pup may turn grey or brown for a while, which is normal. I hope she enjoys her plant! I'm planning on trying to get a pup from my mom's plant when I'm down in Arizona this year! Goodluck!
