Regrading, Can I remove earth together with tree roots and stump with a trencher?

Question:what kind of equipment is good for digging out earth with tree roots and deep down buried tree stump?

Better use a backhoe, and if you never have before, hire a local operator. Trenchers' earth saw blades get hung up on roots and will fail to accomplish the task.
Check if the tree is protected, some are.
And call underground service alert to locate nearby utilities. You can get the number from your gas or sewer company.
