I have grass in yard with stickers , I don't know if it's grass, or a weed. You can't walk bare footed .

Question:

Answers:
sounds like a nettle. not really grass. If you dont want it you have to yank it out by the roots. use a glove

If it's not nettles like Wraeth suggests, it might be beggar's lice or something similar. But the treatment is the same I've lost track of how many times I've had to pick that stuff off my clothes when I was a kid!
more than likely you got a weed you dont want there. if you cant find what it is you may have to call in a lawn pro to help find and eradicate that weed ! everyone wants a barefoot lawn but very few people have that, good luck mate!
You have to treat for this weed in very early spring before it starts growing. Once it grows, the green part dies and turns hard and brown becoming the "sticker". They really suck huh?
dig it up with a shovel ...them things hurt whatever they are
its grass that needs to be mowed, the moving gets rid of the stickers
