Calla lillies not blooming?

Question:I bought 2 bulbs and it took forever for them to grow. Now I only have leaves that are real big but no blooms. How long will it take them?

Answers:
If you planted your Calla Lillies in the last month or so, you are TOO LATE for this year.

Common Calla Lillies should be planted fall to early spring.
Calla Lillies should be planted in full sun, unless the summers are very hot. Then they should be planted in partial shade. However, they need REGULAR watering to grow and bloom!! They love moist, almost boggy soil all year!!

Good Luck!!

me too..i was thinking it was too late in the season? maybe? not sure
