Tomato Plants?

Question:I have four tomato plants and they are like 2 foot tall but they are not blooming what can I do? or should I just take care of them and wait?

Answers:
Sounds like lack of light or over-feeding. Try a sunnier spot, if it's the former.

Feeding normally begins when they have the first flowers on, so that it builds up tomatoes growth.

they probably need a week or two more to start.
K
put the plant in miracle grow i have a tomato plant and it was a little thing but then i put it in the soil and now its over 5' tall its huge for a tomato plant.
Sometimes, they just take a little time. make sure they have adequate sunlight and don't over water them.
Tomatoes are a jungle plant and have some peculiarities to that genre. They need lots of water but too much will cause wet-rot and cause the roots to rot. If there are no insects present, they'll grow straight up and never blossom. This seems to be part of your problem. I'd trim them back, particularly any that are growning into what you might call a trunk. This will cause the plant to bush out a lot and it will be more inclined to blossom. You might sprinkle a little sugar around the drip-line of the plant to encourage "wee buggies", another friend to tomatoes. Mulch your tomatoes with red bark chips.
Try to pick of the suckers. Suckers are the little sprouts that grow between the "Y" in the stalks. Also use miracle grow. It really works!
tomato plants are sometimes slow getting stared but once they start watch out. I would pull the "sucker" branches off and then lightly tap[ the stalk to pollenate it and just make sure it gets water ever so often.
It's simply too early. Although you sometimes see early tomatoes, summer is generally the blooming season. I've had them start as late as August, which made for a nice fall crop. Really it all depends on your climate and the weather you've been experiencing.
well they are still young plants, but should be getting blooms sometime soon, dont forget tomatoe plants need suckered, when a new stem sprout comes between the stalk and a stem pinch it out, and plants will grow much better
