How do you get rid of pampas grass?

Question:

Answers:
dig it all out.

With great difficulty. I dug some out, years ago. "Dig" is the operative word.
Cut it to the base and apply undiluted glysophate to the funnels..apply again in 2 weeks time.PS.If digging out is the right term and it is a large clump..I'd go for a back-hoe...This stuff is stubborn and leaves some of its buddies behind.
First you go to the hardware store and buy a good pair of gardening gloves, then you take a garden hose and spray water on the area that the grass is in to loosen the soil. Then you bend down, or simply kneel down and ...Pull it up.
