Its about my morninglory's.. ?
Question:I live in North Carolina and planted my morningglories about a month and half ago.. they started off strong.. but as the weather gets warmer, the plants are slowly dying.. I water them often, but they just seem to be wilting away in the heat. Should I try bringing them in, I get lots of sun in the house, and we ac, so its cooler. I come from Canada and have never had problems with them before.

It's normal, they wilt during the heat of the day to conserve water. It probably never got as hot in Canada. If they are wilted in the mornings or on cool or cloudy days you may have a problem. Whoa!, I just read the rest of your question, you've got them in pots. If the pots are too small it would exaggerate the problem, try to keep the pots out of the sun and the plants in the sun. RScott
dont know how to keep them alive, but here in ohio, we keep trying to kill them, lol they grow everywhere that we dont want them! and we have had some pretty crazy weather, gl with keeping them alive!
These are from a seed instead of thewild ones..If you have them in pots, they should deffinately be in the ground.I think to try to water them would make it worse...Don't think they would like it inside. The change from out side to inside ac would put them in shock....
I don't live in NC, but I would say it's too hot for them where you've planted them. Canadian weather is far different than NC weather. You could try planting them where there's less direct sun, if you have such an area. Here in NJ I mulch my morning glories with grass clippings to keep the soil moist and their roots cool. It works for me. NC is much hotter, tho. The only other thing would be to ask at a local nursery if they indeed can be grown where you live & ask for tips on how. I personally wouldn't bother to bring them in the house, but that's up to you.
In NC, morning glories are considered an invasive. Most of the time, particularly in shady wet areas, people are trying to get rid of them...they can take over native vegetation.
