How much horse manure do you need per meter squared?

Question:Its well rotted not fresh.

Answers:
I generally use a bucketful per squre yard/metre, it depends on the need of the crop.
If un-rotted, I sread it up to 4 inches deep, and dig it in a month or two later.

hard question: i usually allow about 1 kilo per metre square, and dig it in well, but other people may use more.
I would personally not use that stuff because it is real low in nitrogen and high in salts and smells bad
What are you putting it on?? If it is grass--light covering should due it.
not the best time of year to apply, even if its well rotted you may risk burning some plants, I generally wait untill autumn spread it over my veg plot as the other guy said 75mm thick just leave it the worms will take it down, then fork over in spring. Check what ur gonna plant there as some flowers, veg dont like it.
Firstly, it MUST be well rotted (at least 6 months old) you cannot use fresh it will kill every plant except well established shrubs and trees.

You would be better off using chicken manure that can be forked into the soil straight away and gives better results.

But it is probable that you have access to lots of horse manure hence the question.

About 20kg per meter and well dug in.
