My papaver Oriental poppy plant leaves are flopping down.?

Question:I thought the plant should be taking well in drought or dry patch? Is this the reason probably that's causing it "dying"?

Answers:
Could be dry. How long ago was it planted? "Drought-tolerant"= * when established . Also it doesn't mean "100% drought-proof" The leaves start to die off after flowering . Is it done flowering yet? They usually go completely dormant by mid-summer . It might be just that.

Well, that or you're over watering.
