How do you preserve hydraenger stems?

Question:

Answers:
pick a bunch and fill a vase w/them, when it looks like you have enough to fill the vase, double it. dont add water though, theyll dry on their own and shrink some (hence, the reason why you double the amount the vase will hold). theyll last through the winter. and while theyre fragile, youll be able to move the vase w/out them falling apart. although they may not hold up well if you take them out of the vase, but you can try.
