Think the rain will hurt the rhubarb?
Question:Think the rain will hurt the rhubarb? Does fruitcake flush? Two of life's most perplexing questions...please help!..awaiting your excellent advice.
Answers:
Oh yeah! Rain will break up a cat fight real fast. Oops, you mean the plant! No, we had it growing in our grove and it loved the rain. It's only when someone has left the cake out in the rain and you can't find the recipe again, that rain can be damaging.
Yes you can send your brother-in-law to a rehab clinic to get a toxin flush. Darn! I can't get this right!. You mean the food! Yes, if you crumble it, (or hack it, depending on it's density) into little bitty pieces, but it is better to dump it in the landfill instead to give the rats a treat. Why clog up your sewer system?
Hope this advice helps, good luck.
The rain has not hurt my rhubarb yet. In fact, my mother-in-law made some wonderful rhubarb jam. Yummy. Can't help you with the fruitcake, sorry.
Nope.\
Yup.
I don't think rain will hurt the rhubarb unless of course it's acid rain.
And if you crush it up enough, you better believe fruitcake flushes! But have a plunger handy in case things go awry.
rhubarb is a plant and I can not think of a single plant that rain hurts
Rain will not hurt the rhubard, but it may help it grow some. Fruitcake? Just take the thing out to your outside trashcan on trashday and listen for the big THUMP it will make when you drop it in and laugh. Be sure to take one of your kids, they'll think it's funny too! Then let the trash truck deal with it. I wouldn't flush it, it might clog the pipes!
The rhubarb we grow here in NY loves to be damp, and the more it rains the larger it seems to grow.
as for the fruit cake, why waste it by flushing it. Toss it out in the yard and let the birds and wild critters enjoy it.
no
will rain hurt the rhubarb?
I'd say no, but just to be on the safe side, purchase little raincoats for each of the plants.
Does Fruitcake flush?
fruitcake will flush, but why would you risk the lives of all the poor sewer rats and alligators? Get a collection of them going, use mortar in between them, build a soundproof room and start a band!
Am I the only one who likes fruit cake?
My x mom in law made wonderful fruit cake... Altho I wouldn't want to eat it all year long - once a year, at Christmastime is perfect! Goes nicely with Egg Nog (no alcohol version)...
On the other hand, I dislike rhubarb. But, I don't think rain would hurt it - it's too hardy of a fruit (?) to be damaged by rain.. unless it's liek a monsoon, of course! LOL
