Types of Grapes?

Question:I just bought a house with a large grape arbor in the back. Is there any way to tell from the leaves what type of grapes they are before the bunches actually form?

Answers:
Not really. Best to see if you can get them to fruit and tell from that. Most of the searches dealt with identification through genetic testing, I assume you'd rather skip that. I don't know what area you are in or how large this arbor is. If it is a large arbor more than 25 years old you can probably expect it to be a Concord as they were the only ones common at the time.
