How do I grow peppers?

Question:I am growing peppers for the first time, they started off well, about nine inches tall. Now yhey seem to be wilting, the leaves are drooping and one as rolled up. The soil is quite moist and they are getting plenty of sunlight Thank you. Tom f.

Answers:
Keep the soil evenly moist; especially when the fruits are developing, peppers need about an inch of water a week. After the ground has warmed thoroughly, mulch with organic matter to conserve moisture and deter weeds. While many viruses and diseases can affect Peppers, it is somewhat infrequent. Fungal infections can be treated with fungicides. Look at your local hardware store for a veggie fungicide. Keep the soil around the peppers clean from debris, and check the pH of the soil (soil test kit); it should be between 6.0 and 7.0. If it’s below 6.0, add liquid lime, which contains calcium. Do not over fertilize pepper plants. I hope this info helps. Good luck:)

Have you fed them? And are they in a greenhouse?

There's been a lot of rain recently, so if they're outside they might not be doing so well.
Hi
Plant them in pots, you may find there's a soil infestation, treat them just as for tomatoes.

Peppers of any kind dont like the soil to be moist.you may be drowning them.they also grow better in poor soil low in fertilizer.think about where peppers come from .
plant them fertlize them water them take care of them
Slowly from my experience, I tried them some years ago during a better summer than this & they took ages to grow & it was September before they were a decent size, I fed them & watered them, grew them in pots with growbag compost. Try them if you must.
don,t over water let them dry out a bit and then a little water every other day you can also give some tomato food if you are getting the little green buds that will turn into peppers don,t worry
try feeding them with a product that you water onto the leaves as well
