Of course nothing like that. There were single cells before plants or any other complex life. Early plants were single cells multiplying by mitosis. Later they became multiple cell plants but still no seed. Seeds became available much later when they developed meiosis. So seed was developed later in plants. Much like egg too.

You think are too smart. But tree is before seed as it is a fact of evolution of grass, plants and trees. A seed can produce a tree but a tree can not produce a seed unless male and female "trees" are there, and butterflies for fertilization. Are you happy.

If anybody answers your question as tree, you will ask without seed how it is possible to grow tree and if somebody says seed you will say otherwise. So it is difficult to answer to both of these questions.

Tree is the first. When Lord Brahma created the moving and non-moving beings, He did not have to sow seeds to grow plants and trees. He created the trees and plants directly.
