Help, my trees are covered with June bugs!?

Question:June bugs are swarming my trees. I know that they are adult grubs, so I will be treating my lawn for grubs, but what can I do about the June bugs. And, they seem to only be out in the evening. Where do they go during the day?

Answers:
I have never seen damage done by an June bug and they only last a few weeks, don't worry, be happy.

call the extermenator lmaoo
This sounds more like Japanese Beetles than June Bugs. They look the same but the Japanese Beetles are a bit smaller and they will damage your trees, shrubs, plants, etc. I suggest you do some research to see if this is what you have and how to treat for them.
as much as i hate to ever suggest pesticides, there's a product by bayer called tree & shrub control. (it comes in a blue bottle) it's a systemic that you mix with water and pour around the bottom of the tree/shrub. it lasts for 9 months to a year and is VERY effective without having to actually SPRAY anything. i don't know where you live, but it does seem a little early for japanese beetles. regardless, i use it on my mom's roses every year to get rid of the japanese beetles and it works like a charm.
June bugs do not hurt anything and they will not stay long.
Buy some " systemic" Bayer for example...Systemic is a pesticide that the plant is drinking... You better spray it on the roots that the tree absorb it. The Bayer last about 6 months. Anytime an insect will try to 'eat ' your tree it will die. You can find it at the Home Depot.
Encourage natural predators- toads to live in the area. They eat the heck out of june bugs, emerging grubs and beetles and it is a environmentally friendly thing to do, remember folks systemic tree control makes the entire tree toxic for all the wildlife who inhabit it( the good ones and the bad ones). Japaneese beetles are active during daylight, june bugs are active at night, also is the tree lighted? the june bugs are attracted to light and each other. Toads need a place to hide during the heat of the day.
