Anyone know of a public blackberry patch in Missouri?

Question:My husband and Dad want to pick blackberries and we are looking for a public patch in the Columbia, Jefferson City, Kansas City, Springfield area. Can anyone help?

Answers:
just drive out of town and look for them!! you can find them along ditches or in wooded areas,, look for sticker plants with white flowers in the spring,, these are usually black berries, go out and pick them about this time of summer...

I live and work in Springfield, Mo. I'm pretty knowledgable of this area, and have never seen, or heard of any.
