Glue traps, but be prepared... they are inhumane
Get you a couple or rat terriers they are fantastic rat killer and all round great dogs so are jack russell either one will get the job done.Plus you gain two really loyal friends.

We've used the sticky traps for mice and the industrial strength black ones work well, but the white ones were a joke.
