How can I perfectly preserve these paintbrush lillies?

Question:In about a month, I'm about 30-40 paintbrush lillies are going to bloom. Is there anyway I could cut them, then preserve them? I want them to look fresh looking, and i want them to last for about a year (or more, hopefully). Any ideas what I could use and how? If I just hung them upside down and put hairspray on them , would that work? Thanks in advance.

Answers:
At most craft stores they have a product that is like crystals that absorb moisture made for preserving flowers and foliage. You put the flowers in a dish and cover with the crystals and put in the microwave. If you follow the directions properly, the flowers will be dried or preserved and look just like you cut them off the plant, color and texture and all. I don't remember the name of the product but the store salespeople should be able to assist you.
