It depends who planted them there..FBI, CIA, MI5, MI6 etc.
Get them to de-bug it for you.
Different bugs require different treatments. Some can be gotten rid of with just dish soapy water. Most garden centers have a book with what to use for what problem. If you can get a sample of the problem and then put it in a zip lock bag and take it to a local nursery. They can help you identify your problem and tell you what to use to cure it. You want to be careful what you spray on what you're going to eat. Alway ask if soapy water will get rid of them before poisen.
Believe it or i have heard that Garlic cloves do the trick for snails, but not sure if it would work on bugs...just place around the plants.or you could try washing up water...Good luck !!
Slugs & snails - use a beer trap (although putting lettuce in water in the trap works just as well)
Caterpillars - pick off by hand
Aphids - soapy water (not TOO soapy!!)
Carrot root fly - plant the carrots in a raised bed & put fine netting around them as carrot root fly cannot fly more than 3ft above the ground.
Onion Fly - grow onions with carrots as it confuses the hell out of them!

Plant marigolds around your veggies. Many bugs don't like something in their scent. Depending on where you are there is a line of "natural" pest control products that don't contain toxins and poisons. They are called "Safer" and work fairly well.
Some people are big on using natural pesticides, however, I like to use the stuff that works. I sprinkle SevenDust all over my plants and the bugs won't touch them. It washes off easily under tap water.
Japanese Beetle trap for Japanese Beetles, everything else.SEVIN, dust or liquid. I use liquid.
