Do soaker hoses(to use on rose bushes) come in less than 25' hoses?

Question:We have rosebushes around a flag pole & we measured the area to be 13'. I know rose bushes need at least a 1x per week deep soak(1 or more hours?). It'd be nice to have a soaker hose that fits than to have to stand there for an hour or more or even sit there & burn up. Thanks!!

Answers:
If you can't find the right length soaker hose, you can always cut the 25' hose to the proper length and put a new end connector on it.

To put a new end on, you only need some large pliers (channel lock plier would work well) and a sharp knife to cut the hose.

You can buy hose end adapters for splicing hoses and for making new end connectors - these are found in the hose area of hardware and department stores and cost $1 or $2.

no I don't believe they do but if you buy the 25 foot hose and cut it in half and install 2 male hose couplings you would have 2 soaker hoses and no problems.
The 25' length was the shortest offered by Swan or Colorite.

I might suggest two alternatives.

1) Wrap the 25' hose in a spiral around the base of the rose
bushes, you should then get two wraps over the area
required and soak the ground more evenly and quicker.

2) Have a 25' hose cut and recoupled into two 12 1/2' hoses.
You might be able to do this yourself, but I am not sure if
the soaker hose will work with the commonly available
repair couplings found in hardware stores.

Good Luck
No but you can cut them and put a hose repair on the cut end(sold at home depot) and you have more that one soaker hose. It is the same repair end that you would buy to repair your garden hose. Just make sure you buy the right diameter.
