Venus Fly Traps?
Question:How many times a day do you have to water & feed them?
Do you have to keep them outside or inside?
Do they grow better in the cold or warm better?
Answers:
Venus flytrap plants do well in moist, warm conditions. They tend to like a sort of "boggy" condition as a rule. If you fertilize them properly, they don't need meat or insects, contrary to popular opinion. Keep them in bright light, but not direct sunlight, and they should do very well.
you don't have to feed them daily... maybe a little pinch of hamburger a week... water based on how dry the dirt gets, not by schedule.
They like standard room temperature... about 70 F
Feeding depends upon the plant. You can put a bug in any trap leaf that is open. Once a trap captures a bug, it requires about a week to digest it. Then it will reopen and be ready for a new bug. This means that if you have a large plant with about seven traps, on the average one trap will reopen per day, ready for a feeding. This is a lot of work.
On the other hand, you do not have to feed a trap right away just because it opens. Traps can go for weeks without being fed. They grow fine, just more slowly.
They like sunny, humid weather.

Remeber, they are tropical plants, so you should water them often, keep them in warmth, and depending on where you live, probably inside.
feeding is not important, but feeding them will help it make more traps.
outside is better than in side(in a pot ,need special soil,ONLY PURIFIED WATER!!Just keep soil moist.
Warm but not hot is perfect( in full sun),their NOT TROPICAL PLANTS they naturally originate in North Carolina and need to go in hibernation.Dont feed them hamburger or hotdog meat or it will die.
i have 9 of them sins 2001
